New Bug House employee passes certification

Warner Robins, Ga.- In March, Bug House Pest Control’s new employee, Calvin Broom, passed the Structural Pest Control Employee Registration Exam from Georgia’s Agricultural Department at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC).

“I have been working with Calvin for about a month,” said General Manager, Billy Matthews. “He is very knowledgeable in a variety of areas and has been a great addition to our team.” 

Recently, Broom was hired by Bug House in Warner Robins and is also certified by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to capture and relocate wildlife.

In the next two years, Broom is looking forward to getting his Designated Certified Operator (D.C.O.) license and manage an office for Bug House Pest Control.

Bug House expands pesticide services across state lines

Milledgeville, Ga.,-- The Alabama Department of Agriculture certified general manager of Bug House Pest Control, Billy Matthews, as an official operator in the state of Alabama for residential and commercial pesticides on March 6, 2012.

“This gives us the ability to do work in the state of Alabama,” said Matthews. “This will help us with our expansion plans, to cities like Columbus that are very close to the state line.”

After applying for the Alabama Department of Agriculture pesticide test in Nov. 2011, Matthews had to study the rules and pesticide regulations of Alabama.

“Bug House is always looking for new markets,” said Matthews. “While at the same time staying true to our core values, we always want to maintain a high level of customer service, and be very active in the communities that we serve.”

Mike Prosperi, owner of Bug House is excited to expand the company’s reach to different markets.

Bug House employee gets IAQA certification

Milledgeville, Ga.,--Bug House Pest Control in Milledgeville congratulated employee, Bill Faith, upon his Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) certification of microbial remediation.

IAQA certification “insures that the microbial growth is properly identified and the remediation process is carried out too industry standard,” stated Faith.

In October 2011, Faith enrolled in an IAQA training class in St. Louis, Mi.

“I was very pleased that he took the trip to St. Lewis, and not only came back with great knowledge but also had the ability to apply it in the field,” said Bug House owner, Mike Prosperi.
Faith has been a sales associate at Bug House Pest Control since September of 2010.
