Bug House employee receives certification in turf and ornamental pest
control
Greensboro,
Ga.—Bug House Pest
Control employee, Shane Stancill, passed two certification tests on April 20,
2012 at the Athens Technical College in Athens, Ga.
Stancil took the Commercial Applicator
General Standards Test and the Turf and Ornamental Pest Control Test.
“With this new certification, we will
have the ability to treat for turf and ornamental pests such as chinch bugs,
grub worms, mole crickets, and ants,” said Stancill. “We also will be able to
treat turf diseases, such as Brown Patch, Dollar Spot and other fungus
problems.”
For six years, Stancill has been a
sales and service technician for the Bug House location on Lake Oconee.
“I’m excited for and very proud of
Shane,” said Dennis Mitchell, General Manager for Bug House in Lake Oconee. “Shane
is an extremely intelligent and motivated individual and is a tremendous asset
to Bug House.”
